Paidea Parent
As a former ECFE parent I was hesitant to take my twins to daycare. But with a strong recommendation, I chose Paidea. When I attended the first parent night where we discuss our children’s emotional and physical development, I knew I had made the right decision.
Paidea is the only place I would entrust my children and the parent nights have been priceless in the knowledge I have gained to work with Paidea’s philosophies and raise emotionally connected, enthusiastic and secure children.

Toddler Program
Age: 16 months - 3 years
Our programs are based on the needs of the children.
Everything we do is the result of a conscious decision based on what is best for the child.
| Our Program |
Purpose
Low child/teacher ratio
Small groups (10 children with 2 teachers. If group is divided between teachers the maximum ratio would be 4-1 for young toddlers and 6-1 for older toddlers.)
Individual attention and a calm environment are critical for toddlers. A small group and low teacher/child ratio is necessary to accomplish this goal.
Mixed age group
- Children can learn from each other
- Children remain with one teacher longer for attachment
- Children play different roles within a group (baby, helper)
Focus on exploring the environment (open, shut, build, touch, move, climb, etc.)
This is what toddlers naturally want and need to do to promote cognitive and physical growth
Learning about ownership ("mine") and turn-taking ("I want it when you are done")
Learned skills and necessary steps to cooperative play
Offering choices
Helps children learn to be problem-solvers and decision-makers
