Vacation time:
The amount of
vacation time Paidea offers, it's unheard of in the
industry! It gives parents, who have the time
off, an opportunity to spend more time with their
kids and not be punished for doing so.
It encourages
keeping families together.
Part Time Child Care:
Finding
part time child care can be tough, but we found it
at Paidea.
We like
the way they divide the days using extensions and
half-days. It's truly a family-friendly way to
do it, and makes part time a real option.
Most
other centers are full-days only, with part time
child care meaning less then 5 full days a week.
Or, if they offer half days, it's only during the
school calendar year, not during the summer.

Vacation Policy
When we first developed our Vacation Policy, many of our
Parents were also Teachers who had the summer off. Since
Paidea believes that it is in the best interest of children to
spend time with their families, we have a liberal vacation
policy to support this. Paidea allows families:
- Two (2) weeks of vacation per year between
September and June where you do not pay tuition.
- Six (6) weeks of vacation between June and
September where you do not pay tuition.

Vacations must be taken in blocks of at least one (1)
week at a time.

$5.00 a day for each time period:
- Before 9:00
- 11:30-1:00
- 1:00-3:00

Full day extensions are before 9:00 and

Field Trips: there is a $8.00 charge for field
trips twice a month

Illness/In-Service Policies
- Sick
days and holidays are paid for like any other day of
attendance.
- Full
tuition is charged for the week of summer in-service,
and half tuition is charged for fall in-service.
